I use a colour calibrated pair of 20" NEC 20WGX2 Pro monitors. Temp 6500K, Gamma 2.2. That way, no matter which screen things are on, they look the same, and correct (colour wise).

Really useful for something like Flash/XNA development, because you generally create assets on one screen and then run the swf/exe on the other, so both screens have to match.

The only change I make after calibration is to drop the brightness down to 50. Contrast get calibrated down to around 62/63.

Back to my 22-inch Westinghouse at 1680 x 1050 x 32 because the 28-inch ViewSonic will turn itself on at night after I've retired and other times it will not turn on when I power up my machine. It got to be so frustrating that I put the 22-inch back into service, but I would love to have the big one fixed. My computer guru threw it out just for the above reasons. He called me, said it was in the trashcan out front and if I wanted it, to get over there quickly because the garbage truck was coming soon. I raced over to his place and rescued it not too long before the big cruncher came along. It worked great for me for weeks. I told him it was working well and that he should have kept it. No sooner had I said that, in a day or so it went to hell. You know, you just can't win...

It has a built in pc... Quote,

"Since it features a built-in PC with a dual-core AMD Athlon64 3400+ processor, running Windows XP; you don't need a separate unit to run your content! Using Samsung's MagicInfo Pro content management software, you can control displays in multiple locations over the Internet, and with gigabit LAN/WAN connectivity, you can also download and stream content from multiple content servers."

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
