Currently in this cold weather...nothing hits the spot better then fresh brewed hot tea.  Friend in Taiwan sends me a tin or bag of leaves when I get close to running out.  Just plain, no flavoring, but that stuff soothes even the worst sore throats, and opens up the sinuses.  Wonderful stuff.  :) Even drink quite a bit in the summer too.

Summer, nice pitcher of fresh squeezed lemonade on ice.  A must have when getting out of the fields on a hot day.  Apple cider is another favorite. 8-)

Iced tea, or hot coffee. I'm not big on soda, which is funny because I work for a soda company, but I do like an ice cold Coke once in a while. Coke from a can or glass bottle only, maybe I'm weird, but I think it tastes different when it's in a plastic bottle. :P

You're not weird. Canned and glass bottled sodas do taste better.

Black coffee with sugar in the morning.

A&W Root beer through out the day. (cans only)

Glass of milk for dinner (chilled in the glass for 20min in the freezer)

Never knew that about the snake. I guess it makes sense though, the snake would eat anything else that tried to move in down there.

TacitBlue... :)

I do not think the snake would eat anything any bigger than a field mouse as most of the snakes which dwell in a well are very small.

It varies per mood but Birch Beer (the first I had was made near No.Conway, NH); I drink too much carbonated beverages of any flavor (at least they're non-sugar/non-corn syrup varieties).
