Sorry everybody,
BUT I AM AFRAID IT HAS GOT TO BE PIE'N'MASH ,but not just any old pie.

It should be a Steak'n'Ale pie, made with either 'Speckled Hen or Old Peculiar' ale in the gravy and small silverskin onions and a short crust pastry topping. The mash made with Irish Butter and roasted onion pieces 'folded in'. And of course the good British  Mushy Pea's. And the rest of the plate/platter covered in a good Mustard'n'Ale gravy.
AND IF AVAILABLE, second helpings !!!

To be followed with a Bramley Apple and Conference Pear and Rhubarb CRUMBLE with double cream or real custard.

AND a tall glass, dripping with cold condensation, of Coca cola or Pepsi.

And best of all good company.

Cheers   Myk

The problem with hot wings is the first bite pulls the skin off and leaves you with unseasoned meat underneath. I don't eat hot wings because I will not eat the greasy, fatty skin. When I do chicken, I do breasts. I skin 'em, then grill 'em over gas. I slobber 'em with BBQ sauce and cook 'em (turning often and slobbering on more sauce with every turn) until that sauce has made a nice, carmelized glazing all over. Nothin' better! Add corn on the cob, baked beans with a bit o' burger fried into 'em, garden salad and a good craftbrew, and you got some eatin' in front o' you! I'm about to pass out just thinkin' about how good that is...
