You might need to select it from Firefox Tools/Options/Main. Click the Manage Add-ons button & disable the default US English dictionary.

I assumed that the "British Dictionary" would only contain British Word spellings!
He figures he's never too old for improvement...His standards have been slipping recently. He's even started using American spelling.![]()
