It's not trash (well, it wasn't), it's a scientific experiment to look for water for when we go BACK to the moon.  ;)

80 million dollars to shoot a rocket into the moon in hopes of finding a few water particles. A great use of our tax dollars... ::)

well i know over here that we are in a drought its not good but i think finding water else where will help in the section of human space flight.

I reckon we need one big bad ass water pump and a HUGE PIPE, to pump all the god damned flood water down to melb  :P :P :P

Every time I look up at that lovely old Moon of ours, which has been in pristine condition for millions of years, and the reason why we are all able to exist on our Planet Earth, I wish that NASA, etc, was not Hell-bent on despoiling our Moon in various ways, for dubious, costly, and mostly unnecessary purposes.

...leave our Moon alone, we have caused more than enough damage down here!
