What's in YOUR piggy bank?

If it doesn't fit .. It fits here .. - -

You don't need piggy banks, just put your wife in charge of the money side of things.......trust me.........this computer is my only joy in life :-[ :-/ :'( ;D

Matt

That worked for me but I was very lucky. Not all women are good with money as many poor sods have found out to their cost. :'(

The best advice would be not to get involved with them in the first place. ;)

;D To coin one of Fozzers favorites, "trust me"!
I've had 3 other ladies say that, and at the end of the day, I end up taking the garbage to the curb, mowing the lawn, and worst of all is coming home from the pub, and hearing ... "We need to talk"
I got lucky, this time, with #4. I still have to do the above duties, this time I smile when I trim the grass and take the garbage to the curb.
(This should factor in to why I can't retire, at least, I am happy now)

I was doing very well, that is, until... Must stop here. SimV don't allow no political discussion. Too bad. Think of the discussions we could get into! It would be like a barfight with words. It would be such fun...

I am probably the youngest guy at working thinking about this.

If I set $5,000USD aside for the next 25-30yrs, I will retire with $1.6Millian dollars.

$5,000 a year for 30 years will be worth $150,000.

Maybe a little more with the whopping 1% interest rate most banks are offering.

I still have some bonds paying 4% and I'm thrilled to have them.

Yeah that is not just sitting in a regular bank account, that is investing it, that I need to just but that much in, and after the 25yrs, I would have $650,000, but if I do the 30yr plan, or just invest more, I will have the magic Million number. 8-)
