Emetophobia-The fear of vomiting, although it isn't really a fear, more of an irritation.

Once 'puked up' on my teacher whilst she was teaching her class of 20 pupils when I was about 9.

Afterwards whenever I fealt a little ill and I was in public I'd get a little anxious. Thankfully, I haven't 'puked' for 4 or 5 years, and my 'fear' of this has greatly declined. :)

+1 on that

I have basiphobia.  The fear of falling from high places.  Irony is that I want to be a pilot ::)

There's nothing more on this planet or elsewhere that I hate as much, either when I'm the unfortunate sufferer or when someone else around me is.

OK, there's some on Fozz's list that I can understand, but others........fear of Bolsheviks (That's surprisingly specific and random)......fear of knowledge.......really?!

For some of these, it just seems like the best option would be to off yourself, since any attempt at treatment would make it worse. Some though, are noted for future reference.

Yeah, but it would be a lot funnier if it related to the stereotypical/classic portrayal of a bolshevik.
Still puzzled on the fear of knowledge one, and not sure how you could function with a fear of fear. You'd be mentally exhausted all the time with either one. (Oh no! I learned something!)

And someone would really just come across to people as a jerk if they had this one: "Cenophobia or Centophobia- Fear of new things or ideas."

Actually, I have that too.  Can't stand puking or seeing people puke.  It's bad enough that sometimes I'll avoid watching a TV show or because I know someone's going to puke during it, or think it might happen.  It was always an irritation (I hate throwing up) but it got much worse this past year actually when I had some pretty bad stomach problems for about a month and a half..starting off with feeling really, really sick but not being able to throw up, then feeling basically nauseous for about 4 weeks afterwards.

Jordan, basiphobia is the fear of standing up, erect.

Acrophobia is the fear of heights/falling from heights, which I believe I have an extreme case of.

Last time my girlfriend and I were at Disney World (Orlando, FL), we saw the show Lights, Motors, Action! and we ended
