I love anything coming over my house, apart from maybe the police helicopter at 4 in the morning

The police helicopter getting louder and lower would give me cause to run outdoors in my bathrobe, or underwear, at 4 AM. I live under the left leg to our local airport and I love it! There is an air show at the end of August, I can sit on my deck and watch the aircraft in the pattern.  ;)

I see large commercial jets and Airforce Tankers from my apartment, but they aren't low at all, so they don't bother me.

I do see a fair amount of general aviation aircraft and helicoptors from my apartment, but they aren't too close or annoying at all. Beautifull background music to my ears that gives me a smile...

The loudest aircraft I ever heard from my apartment was a PBY that was fighting a wildfire that was raging only a couple miles from my apartment. It flew over low and loud right over the apartment, and was most welcome... 8-)

It's nice and quiet where I live. My girlfriend lives close to KPBI, but you really can't hear the jets on approach from where she lives.

Helicopters: They don't fly, they're just so annoyingly loud the Earth repels them.

My house is about 200 metres from the flightpath into Wattisham and we regularly get Very low Apaches flying over, after a while i don't even notice it. I was in North Norfolk last week and there Were F-15s and Tornados flying all day - it was Great...
