Bloody Helicopters are noisy and annoying... >:(...

..and Jet Fighters should always be...."somewhere else"... >:(...!

Passenger Jets should always be up at 50,000+ Feet AGL!... ;)...!

Passenger jets 50,000 feet AGL? If GL is like 500 feet, poor passengers, poor planes... :P
and GL 50 feet won't sit well with anyone below, either. :o

Paul.. I don't know what small trainer props are flying around my house, but they're definately not quiet... I just thought it was Cessnas as they are the most common trainer planes. I apologize. :P

Amen, "Bloody helicopters" really are annoying.

Jet fighters are also really annoying. :P

Passenger jets 50,000 feet AGL? If GL is like 500 feet, poor passengers, poor planes... :P

Tee-Hee... ;D...!

The funny thing is..

We all get annoyed when a Helicopter hovers over our houses....

..and really annoyed when a low flying military Jet suddenly shatters our silence without warning!... >:(...!

...but when a pretty little Cessna 152 Trainer floats slowly over head with its engine gently purring, we all rush out into our gardens to wave excitedly at it, and hope to see the Pilot waving back...Joy... [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]...!

And Passenger Jets are invisible at 50,00+ Feet AGL...which is nice!... :-*...!

Paul...sometimes I don't like Aeroplanes!....and sometimes they don't like me! ;)... ;D...!

Call yourselves aircraft enthusiasts? You lot sound more like the people that buy a house close to an airfield that's been there since the year dot & then complain about aeroplanes using it. ::) :P

Steady on Paul. You'll do yourself a mischief. :D I never cared much for those Cessnas with a nose wheel. They're such a common sight around here that I rarely bother to look up when I hear one. Some of them are noisier than others.

I don't care much for passenger jets either. Let's put it this way, I'm glad I don't live on the approach to Heathrow or Gatwick.

PS. Helicopters are not aeroplanes.

I love anything coming over my house, apart from maybe the police helicopter at 4 in the morning :P

Wish I had more fast jets ;P

Helicopters are a pain in the Butt... >:(...!

..except when you need one in an emergency!... :o...!

Fortunately, in rural Herefordshire, we are not on the flight path to anywhere in particular...which is nice and peaceful...

...I like "Nice and peaceful"...it suits my temperament!... :-*...!

Paul... ;D...!

...and fast Military Jet Aircraft are relegated to Wales, to annoy the Farmers and frighten the Cattle and Sheep!... ;)...!

Same, in my part of the woods we never get anything interesting. Mostly Ryanair, Flybe, or bmibaby on their approach

My daughter lives close to Coventry Airport & near the approach to Birmingham Airport. Depending on the wind direction they get all sorts of aircraft flying over from helicopters to passenger jets. It's actually very interesting but with two young granddaughters to play with I never get the time to take any photos. ;)

PS. Helicopters are not aeroplanes.
I seem to 'feel' the air-thumping from rotary-wing aircraft as soon, if not sooner, than I hear their engine. The first time was rather eerie.

Helicopters: They don't fly, they're just so annoyingly loud the Earth repels them. ;D

I love the sound of all aircraft. I better! I live on an airport!  ;) The louder the better. There is nothing like waking up to the sound of a T-6 or Mustang on take-off.  :D
