AP courses are the biggest waste of time ever... Stay in honors. Besides, you'll actually learn much more if you take the course in college rather than in high school.

And school starts tomorrow? WTF? LOL ;D

Yeah our district does it diffrently. We get more days off in the middle of school and we get 1 month taken off our summer. So the last week of september and the first week of October we have a 2 week break.

Its actually nice doing it that way because the 2nd quater goes by so fast from October to Christmas.

We dont even have honors we just have AP? I thought they were the same? :-?

My school...11th and 12th grade "Honors" is the AP/IB course. For the first two years they are labeled as Honors. Basically I am taking the highest avalible course at my school.

Honors and AP are not the same. Honors is just a bit more work than regular classes, and it looks great on a resume and for college. I did honors/advanced from 6th grade through 12th.

AP courses you get COLLEGE CREDIT in high school, IF you pass the AP exam at the end of the course.. which is very difficult. And if you don't pass, you wasted your time because you'll have to retake the class in college LOL. It does look good on resumes though and it will through up your HPA (not GPA!).

In my school, HPA was counted like this:

Regular classes:
A = 4.0, B =3.0, C=2.0, D=1.0, F=0... LOL

Honors:
A=5.0, so on....

AP:
A=6.0... so on...
