why not just put your pants on and go buy a new TV? ;D

edit:
(of course, there would be major consequences... but you'd have a new TV)

New TV,  but no nookie for a year?

You could always buy HER the new TV.  Women love it when you buy them gifts.  You should see all the payware aircraft I buy for my wife.  She doesn't have flightsim though so I just wind up installing them on my computer.  I buy my wife lots of beer too.

Just go & get a new telly whilst she's at work. When she comes home just flatly deny that the telly has been changed, keep up the denial for a year or two & hey presto, she'll either stop asking, or she'll have left you (which will also stop all of the questions).

By that time you'll want a new telly so the whole process will start all over again. ;D
