If the launch is at 12:33AM EST thats 3 ahead of Cali so that makes Cali 9:33PM so Hawaii at 6:33PM..

How could Britain be the same..

U.K. time is ahead of the U.S.A., not behind.

I know but that was just finding out the time for Hawaii..
From Hawaii EST time is 6 hours behind which makes Hawaii 6:33PM so how could Britain be the same if its ahead..
Maybe 6AM? :-?

We have gotten so much out of Hubble-- so much more than we have put into it. Was it not supposed to be operational for just five years or so? I remember when the mirror was being polished for it way, way back in the early 1970s. I read about it in National Geographic Magazine. The article said the polishing process would take nine years. For a fourteen year-old, nine years was an eternity. Now, it's bordering on a blink...
