The trouble with all these scam E-Mails is that as soon as you click on them, to read the contents, the sender is immediately alerted to the fact that your E-Mail Address is active...and open to receive more of them!

Anything which looks dodgy in my E-Mail In-Box gets deleted immediately, without being opened!...;)...!

Not sure about that Fozz. I know that if you respond to them, then they SURELY know it's active. But if you simply open it, I don't think anyone knows but you. In any case, it was from one of my "junk" email accounts, so I not too concerned about it. Funny thing is (not really funny) some poeple still fall for these. Damn shame.

Actually, there is an option in my email that asks if you want to receive an email when the message is opened.

lol....

I got one of those scam e-mails the other day, and instead of deleting it, I decided to mess with the guy instead. It was a lot of fun, and I hope he was annoyed and frustrated as much as I enjoyed it. I look forward to the next e-mail from another spammer... ;D

I even got an e-mail from some guy who claimed he was an American soldier in Iraq who needed help getting saddam's money out Iraq. I didn't try messing with him. I tore into him instead.... >:(

I believe this is just the online variation of the old 'Pigeon Drop' scam. It never works on a completely honest person. But without following through with it, and not knowing exactly how they do it, I can't be certain. In any event, there are a lot of them around. I've seen at least five in my mailbox in the last few months.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
