I just read the article, very interesting how they used the date from the Persian calendar...Est 1387  ;D  


That sign would look good in my man-cave with all my other military stuff, wonder if they'll make any posters of it...

I see the pub sign painter is from my home town. Perhaps I should write & inform the Times that Worthing is in West, not East Sussex. Can't trust anyone these days. ::) ;)

Many moons ago in another life, Aunty Betty saw fit that I spent many months in a tent in a Turkish desert with the Harrier Force enforcing the no fly zone over North Iraq. We, as you do when in the British armed forces, stuck in the middle of nothing........ built our own pub. In the same theme as this example we called it....The Hover Inn ;D

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
