What's your favorite April Fools prank?

Keep it clean please.  My favorite?  I like to tape the little handle on the hose thing on the sink and point it to the middle so whoever turns on the water first to wash their hands gets soaked  ;D

At school today we had a bit of fun in maths....our teacher sets quite a lot of work and worries that we may not understand it (not really necessary as it's a set of the best mathematicians in the year)....so today we pretended that we'd forgotten everything we'd been taught this year...getting more and more ridiculous until we were asking how multiplication and division worked.....kept it going for 15 minutes though

i told my boss to take my job and "shove it!" and that i quit.   He started stuttering and babling like a kid for about 5 min as i walked off a construction site..... then i turned around about 200 feet away and yelled... "APRIL FOOL!!!"

My all-time, classic, April Fool's Joke was a News Flash on BBC Television, many years ago.

It concerned the observation of two WW1 Biplanes involved in a viscous Dog Fight over Southern England.

An English pilot, and a German pilot were duelling for the hand of a beautiful French Lady whom they both met during World War 1 many years before.

The flight was preceded by an interview with the two elderly pilots describing their reasons for the Duel.

Whoever won the Fight won the lady!

The Television pictures showed dramatic pictures of the ensuing fight!

There was a gigantic hue and cry over the dangers to all those on the ground due to flying bullets!

It was amazing just how many Folks were fooled by the joke....

...(even I was a bit concerned at the time... ...).... ...!

The filmed Aircraft were actually very realistic, Radio-controlled models, which included machine gun sounds!

I can remember the Radio and Television Stations were bombarded by Folks complaining about the dangers to the South of England population.... ... ... ...!

I haven't been able to Google the actual broadcast details*....perhaps Hagar or Comm will remember it?

It really was a Classic!

I saw an april fools prank backfire yesterday on facebook:

One guy decided to tell all his friends that he was comming out as openly gay.  It didn't go over well when he told everybody it was a prank.

Every April fools I usually prank call the airport I work at and claim to be a Gulfstream V claiming to be needing 4000 gallons of fuel (truck holds 3000), both lav's serviced, a catering order of 47 pink cupcakes, a bucket of good propwash, and a roll of flight line.  One time it worked on the 3rd shift guy
