Woman has 911 meltdown over McNuggets

Fla. police say she called emergency number 3 times after store runs out

[quote]FORT PIERCE, Fla. - Authorities say a Florida woman called 911 three times after McDonald's employees told her they were out of Chicken McNuggets.

A police report says 27-year-old Fort Pierce resident Latreasa L. Goodman told authorities she paid for a 10-piece last week but was later informed the restaurant had run out.

She says she was refused a refund and told all sales were final. A cashier told police she offered Goodman a larger portion of different food for the same price, but Goodman became irate.

"This is an emergency. If I would have known they didn't have McNuggets, I wouldn

This is just a sample of how good people have learned the number 911.  We get 911 calls for all kinds of things these days.  I guess all of that public education stuff departments did in the past to teach people 911 has worked too well.

I've suddenly gotten the hunger for McNuggets.

Though, surely she could have asked for a free meal voucher or something and then gone to the next McDonalds? Another McD is probably only a few stores down the road.

Meanwhile someone is caught in a real emergency unable to get through to the police because a shortage of grease coated chicken.

If it strained her obviously limited intellect so badly over a box of McNuggets. Thank God, the dumbass wasn't having a BigMac attack.

She probably would have gone totally psycho...... ::)

It's not like one of your club-carrying bobbies... if it goes violent the ventilated culprit won't be around to pay the ticket.

This is also proof to me that the human race is not going to disappear because of climate change or asteriod impacts, but from dumb people being allowed to breed.  Natural selection in reverse.

How fat is our country... ::)

This woman obviously had to much fat between her ears and no gray matter.

Come to think of it, this is the second tussle with stupidity over McNuggets. I had a personal one back in the 1980's with an airhead McDonald's employee.

I asked for a dozen chicken McNuggets. She looked at me totally baffled and said, "Sir, we only sell them in 6, 9 and 12 piece meals" I choked back the laughter and watched as several people perked up and began to watch the unfolding drama.

I looked back at her and said, "Well, can I get a half a dozen?" She looked at me rather annoyed and repeated her sales pitch, "Sir, we only sell them in 6, 9 and 12 piece meals". This time about half the line busted out laughing and this further frustrated the poor dimwit.

I finally ordered a 12 piece and left..... ::)

I think that says more about the education system than intelligence of the girl. The poor soul had obviously never been taught about dozens.

Come to think of it, in this age of metrication I wonder how many people in this country below the age of about 30 know what a dozen is. Most things are sold in multiples of 10 these days.
