I didn't think carrier birds landed with live ordinance?



It'd be very very expensive if they didn't with the nature of modern operations. :)

I'm sure I'm wrong, it would be pretty crazy dumping all that ammo, I just thought I heard something about them not being allowed to land with live ordinance in case it fell off and detonated

I could see it happening under certain situations, especially with dumb  iron bombs.
