Chimpanzee Attack

Anyone else hear about that? Of course you did, but I'm surprized no one posted it. It's such an awful story:

http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/02/17/chimpa ... index.html

Uncut 911 Call: http://www.wfsb.com/video/18737281/index.html

The call is really bone chilling at times. I think the guy that responded needs to rethink his career though. Listen to him, he doesn't seem to believe her and wastes precious time asking her questions. I can't believe how long it takes for help to get there. Which brings up another topic. People are very inconsiderate to emergency vehicles. All the time I see ambulances and fire trucks fighting traffic. People don't care and don't get out of the way. I always think: "What if it's going to their house or their relative's, or mine." They would feel like a real jackass then, wouldn't they.

Anyway, the call is kind of...I don't know the word for it. It wouldn't be graphic, because it's a call, but you know what I mean. If you don't like that stuff, don't listen. It is amazing that the person is alive though.

My Grandma always wanted a pet chimp when she was little.

When I can hear the chimp in the background and she's freaking out like that, probably.

It never ceases to amaze me that people treat wild animals as "pets"..

Chimpanzees may look like fun creatures, until you observe their teeth in a wide grin...that's when you realise that they can bite your head off without a second thought...!!

...even domestic Dogs fill me with fear...!

There is a program running on the Television at the moment, of a Man and a Woman living with Wolves...

..I am now waiting for one, or both, of them to die...;)...!

Chimps can be extremely dangerous... just consider the fact that they are closest to humans in terms of their DNA. ;)

Reminds me of that couple that lived with grizzly bears, and ultimately wound up being bear food. :o :-/
