What gets me is the fact this has ALWAYS been their policy, yet it takes a news article years after the fact for people to realize the policy exists. Are people illiterate or just stupid?
Facebook had it up them in the first place. They do not own any material and they cannot use it in any way, even if it says so. Anything you make etc. is yours, it's copyrighted and anyone else distributing it and/or selling it is breaking the law.
