What would you do??

Postby glennlcasey » Tue Feb 17, 2009 5:53 am

Hey fellas,

I had an early birthday present tonight. I got given a voucher for a 45min ride, in Flight Experiences 737-800 simulator.  here's the link http://www.flightexperience.com.au.

Now my question is.......What would you do if you were flying? What would you see? What would you do? Would you do a route, say from Sydney-Melbourne, or shoot a couple of approaches somewhere? Kai Tak is well and truly on my to do list.

So feel free to note down ideas. If anyone has done it before i'd love to hear your experiences

Now that's a great gift! :o 8-)

I would also have to do a landing at St. Marteen, to compliment that Kai Tak landing. ;)

Have fun, talk about your unforgettable experiences! ;)

Oh i forgot about St Marteen, always wanted to go there. Hmmmm even tempted to splurge out another hundred bucks and bump it up to a 90minute flight

Having done it too (perks of the job :D), I would say do circuits. Anyone can fly from A to B looking out of the windows or at the myriad of instruments that you don't/will not understand (sorry but it is true, FSX is only so good). The answer you want to know is, can I land?. Flying from one destination to another takes up too much time. And those 45 minutes will be over in a heart beat.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I've been in this one, for a birthday gift, the one at Darling Harbour though. I did a realistic flight from Brisbane to Sydney with all the bells and whistles. Make sure you get the video so you can watch it over again. Was quite surprise at the realism and the fact that they used FS9 for their environment.

An unforgettable expreience. Would love to go again. 8-)
