Google is on the verge of launching a system that experts believe could make the personal computer as we know it virtually redundant

Gdrive

Apparently we are all going to be storing everything online. Well all I can say is I will be in the que to buy the last hard drive to be produced........ever! Don't care if Dementors are guarding the internet as long as we have computers someone will be spending every waking moment trying to crack the security to access it and then sell your secrets. What do you guys think?

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I wouldn't use it. I like having my info safe and secure on my own hard drive(s).

There's a fine line between security and paranoia, I prefer both when it comes to my personal files, many of which I use for work and have confidential info in them.  I'll keep my hard drives, thanks.

However................some Muppet at the top of the company you work for will think that this is a great idea that can save time and money and against the IT departments best judgment will want it implemented ASAP and then blame the IT department when you company rivals are reading about your best ideas before he does ;D ;D

As long as someone else has signed the bit of paper and therefore incriminates themselves I'm not worried ;D
