The last operational BoB fighter base...

...RAF Coltishall, Norfolk, is to become a prison, it was confirmed today.

I guess they'll be substantially improving the facilities and accommodation then! A crying shame, Colt was a lovely place.

Sad to say, I would have traded in a heart beat some of the military hospitality that I had to use in the past with the average con >:(

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I had to live in an old WW2 barracks that was uncondemned to use for deploying soldiers. The worst part was that that nasty asbestos was all over the place. Yet the government spends millions so our criminals behind bars are comftorable.

Rumour has it that someone died in those old barracks shortly after we were there

I dread to think what a good lawyer could get the average prisoner for a cold and damp nights sleep............I should hire one, for all those cold and damp nights in Senna Lager >:(
