Thats sad, ruining your child's life for your 15 minutes of fame.  You can't tell me they actually expect people to accept that name.

Some people are just so dumb.

Mrs Campbell added: "I just figured that they're just names. They're just kids. They're not going to hurt anybody."

Mr Campbell told a New Jersey newspaper: "They say, 'He (Hitler) killed all those people.' I say, 'You're living in the wrong decade. That Hitler's gone.

"They're just names, you know. Yeah they (the Nazis) were bad people back then. But my kids are little. They're not going to grow up like that."

The mother claims that 'Adolf' is just a name & that it's not linked to the Nazis as the Nazis were bad people - then goes on to name all three children after huge Nazi influences.

The sort of people you'd just like to run over repeatedly until they can actually comprehend their own hypocritical ramblings.

*rant over*

She says that her kids aren't going to grow up like the names she gave them? Maybe. But she has just given her child years of abuse and teasing for no reason.

Complaining about this to the news just shows she wanted to show off her kids "clever" names. There was no reason to make this public, all she would have had to do is talk to the manager. But this is America and a business does not have to do something if they don't want to. Besides, are there no other places that make birthday cakes in NJ? This really was not about not getting service, this was just her way of getting attention, unfortunately at her kids expense, I hope shes happy.

She looks happy, but on the other hand she also looks like she's had a stroke.

I don't think that's peculiar to America. :P

Another reason that many may find this (the names) particularly offensive is that New Jersey has a fairly large Jewish population relative to other states. I'm not sure about Holland Township, but my own town has a very large Jewish population, I would estimate that approximately 15-20% of my high school was Jewish.

Also, many of the owners of ShopRite stores (each store is individually owned) in the area are Jewish, though I'm not sure which branch the purchase took place at so I don't know if the owner of that store is.

As a young kids growing up in wartime Britain, we were sort of brainwashed I suppose into despising this guy and had numerous rhymes and sayings designed to heap derision on this big bogeyman, leader of the "Nazzies". I hate to think what sort of life a kid called Adolf Hitler would have had in those days ::)

My guess if these kids are named such, they are probably going to grow up fairly brainwashed in terms of ethnic predjudice.

Its a sad, pathetic cycle.

It takes a real moron to name their kids adolf hitler, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell, and Honsylynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell (named in reference to the SS Heinrich Himmler) and then wonder why people are negative towards them.

Come on, what the hell did they expect? Community support? ::)

Jackass... >:(

I feel sorry for those kids. I would probably disown my parents if I were him. If you ask me, I think it's child abuse. They might not have any visible scars or bruises, but what about the emotional issues they may have for the rest of their life?

In many states, possibly all states, mental abuse carries the same punishments as physical abuse.

"ShopRite can't even make a cake for a three-year-old. That's sad."

What a pathetic thing to say to justify her case.

The Campbells . . . were offered a cake with enough room for them to write their own inscription but they refused.
