Dude. I understand you're excited. But you can lay off the daily/hourly countdowns.

Everything still 'Go' for launch of Endeavour at 7:55pm EST tonight. We are in the T-9 Minute Hold with 25 minutes left in that hold. The countdown has been completely smooth. No issues now. The launch now is 7:55:39- Just updated to the second as I was typing. All still 'Go'.

I'll be posting updates until launch from this time, so anyone interested may want to stick around. If anyone has questions I can answer those too.

Endeavour Launches In:

0         00      28   52
Days  Hours  Min  Sec

All crew members have been onboard for several hours now. Comm checks were also completed. Pressure checks were done after hatch closure, and all is still 'Go' at this time.

All still 'Go.' The only issue reported is that a pin was not put into the white room door. This will cause the door to "Flop Aorund." This is not going to prevent a launch. The white room is the room at the end of the Orbiter Access Arm. This is how the astronauts board the shuttle.

T-9 Minutes And Holding.

I'm just worried that I'll start surfing and lose track of time.  It wouldn't be the first time.

I have CNN on now so they should let me know when to go out to the back yard.

The inner door of the white room is not secure, but that is no issue to launch. Good luck to the astronauts. They will have a good zero-G Thanksgiving.
