Through the Fire and Flames Cover (Yeah, me)

Postby Ashton Lawson » Thu Oct 02, 2008 3:35 pm

Hey guys,

Alright, I'd always said I wouldn't do it, mainly because I don't like the prospect of showing off to the world, or making fool of yourself in front of the world (either one), but a friend finally pushed me, and so here it is.

A Video of me Playing Dragonforce's Through the Fire and Flames on the Electric Guitar

First go at recording myself, so no insults.  The video was recorded with my phone, my guitar was recorded by a headset microphone next to the amp, and the actual song was thrown in manually.

So, there it is, please let me know what you think, since just leaving the vid and not knowing how it would fair against other dudes is far scarier than finding out that you totally suck.

Don't worry I do that every morning on my school's news program...Monty Python, Top Gear, Clarke & Dawe, and The Colbert Report all rolled into one...of course my friend who pushed my to do it is looking foolish on live 'tv' with me... ;D

...Good job with the song too. ;)

Thanks guys, means a lot :).

BigTruck, thanks, though I'm not sure if I like BYOB all that much.  We'll see though, since I didn't like Hand of Blood all that much, but I liked the guitar in it, so I learned it.

Now I love it 8-).

I like it very much!

Was listening to the original when I saw the topic ;D

Try doing Jimi Hendrix's version of All Along the Watchtower!
