Whooo!...why not just say what you think Peter my son. Don't beat about the bush..... :o

I don't know if that was an intentional pun but I find it hilarious. ;D

You gotta larf or you would break down & weep. ;)

I think the wallstreet drop was wallstreet's way of saying,"Ha! told you so!", they could have kept their heads and said "O.k., just wait , no need to panic yet", But NO, I was watching when the votes came in, and they had a little in-screen pic on the tv showing the market numbers, and as soon as the time ran out the market went from -379 to -778 in a blink! :o They were waiting for this to happen if you ask me. The big rich wallstreet people said, "Give us no money , and we'll throw your society into a panic, because we were greedy and need more." I think congress made the right move. I agree with Brett, give that money to the people and let us filter it up through the system, not the other way. Trickle Down Economics has not, and never will work.
Just my two cents, sorry for ranting. :-[

Actually.. if it were up to me.. I'd just let them ride it out. If people sign up for mortgages they can't afford.. they made their own problem.. And if the banks that give them these mortgages thought it was a good risk.. they should live withe the consequences too.

There's gonna be pain, no matter what we do. Printing money and throwing it at the problem, is like drinking to cure a hangover. It might delay the pain, but when it does come around, it's only worse..
