You know what will happen that day?...NOTHING.

I really don't like all the doomsday predictions. The people have no real edvidence of such a doomsday. To me December 12 2012 is just another day.

Yes, but what about December 13, 2012?

That's where it's different.

What's the betting that falls on a Friday? We're all doomed! :o :P

the 13th is a Thursday.
Because this was a leap year, my cousin's birthdate (Dec. 13) will next be on Friday in 2013, 2019, 2024, 2030... (a 6-5-6-11 frequency). If we were considering November 13, my birthdate will be on Friday next year although the doctor predicted my date of birth for either 9/12 or 10/12, then gave up; never definitively predict for nature what it will do in its own time...

So we are all going to experience incredible events on some day in December four years from now? I have to wonder how many times this has happened in the past four billion years. I remember there was some sort of alignment in the early 1980s. I think it was in March of 1981 or 1982. If I remember correctly what happened that day, I'm pretty sure the Earth was not torn apart and billions did not die. But I could be wrong...

I agree with what you all are saying, I only stumbled upon this recently and there is allot of data on it.

But let's just say there is a 10th planet that revolves around the sun every 3600 years and with our giant telescopes we are starting to see it. This 10th planet called Planet X or Nirubi is supposed to circle our sun and then start its 3600 year revolution again. A planet of this magnitude visiting us at a time when the Galactic alignment is happening which happens every 2500 years or so is something that none of us would have ever conceived.
Not to put the fear of God on anybody but look at lost civilizations that have disappeared and who's writings tell of the "Destroyer" from the sky. It is all based on the Mayan calendar which has proven all events and ends on December 21, 2012 which is The Winter Solstice...

If there is a 10th planet that is expected to revolve around our sun in 2012 and this galactic alignment is also supposed to occur,.. it will be interesting to see what happens....

Me, I am going to start stocking up on canned soup!

Planet X? I believe that was what they called Pluto before giving it a real name.
Also the name of a sci-fi movie if memory is correct. ;)
It seems somewhat unfeasable that a planet orbiting our sun would go undetected for so long, especially if it had a revolution of 3600 earth years. At that slow rate it should be easily detected by the methods used for doing such things.
