Dumb people?

Postby ozzy72 » Wed Sep 03, 2008 6:10 am

Do you ever look at someone and ask yourself "How the **** did you slip into the gene pool?"
I had a REALLY good one this morning whilst trying to get the train to work, a guy on the platform goes to the loo, leaving his suitcase under the sign warning about not leaving baggage unattended. Next thing we've had to evacuate the station and wait for the police. It was only their arrival that prevented Mr. Illiterate twat from being beaten to death by irrate fellow commuters armed with brollies!

Try working at an airport.  You would think it is common knowledge not to leave bags at an airport.  We have large signs on every wall and at every corner and counter, yet it is almost daily we have unattended bags.  Usually it solved by asking a few people who the bag belongs to, but twice in the last couple of years it has involved the fire marshall and bomb techs.

We just have to remove the considerations of "post birth".   ;)

What we need are new signs, in this case;

"Ladies and Gentleman, please be prepared at any time to evacuate the platform and arrange alternate forms of transport due to the inevitable retard who will at some point leave their baggage untended,...........oh, and have a nice day"

Matt
"A bit of a pickle" - British translation: A catastrophically bad situation with potentially fatal consequences.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

This seems an appropriate time to add one of my favorite lines.

The last time i asked myself this question was last thursday.

At the local community college i am taking a few classes.  :D

well you find three kinds of people at a local community college:

1. The student who just graduated high school who will attend 2 semesters and drop college all together. (most likley

2. the adult returning to school at age 30+ (2nd most likely)

3. the student who just graduated high school and i serious about their education and will transfer to a major university within 2 years. (least likely)

well in my government class we were doing a class reading of the united states constitution, and the first girl to read did not know the word "tranquility" and actually turned to the guy behind her to ask what the word "Blessings" meant and how to say it.

i wanted to die!!!!

later on we took a U.S. Citizenship test (as would be given to an immigrant) and one question was "Who did the United States Declare Independence from?"

the girl answered "Mexico"  >:(

MEXICO????

MEXICO????

I Felt really horrible for not only this person, but especially the professor of the class.

I didnt know what to say but i was astonished, i was dumbfounded. if i could go back to that moment i would not be surprised if my jaw was literally gaping open.

That's almost as bad as the COPS episode my wife and I watched Saturday evening.

One exceptionally stupid woman called the police. When they showed up, she tried to get them to arrest her drug dealer for not selling her the crack cocaine she'd paid for. The poor cop was trying desperately to keep a straight face as she gave him all the info on her dealer and the how she's been screwed out of her crack.

As ole Forrest Gump put it- "Stupid is as stupid does"
