Holy crap, Ike went from a Cat 1 to Cat 4 in a matter of 6 hours  :o  Should be an interesting storm to watch!!

Right now apart from a glancing blow from the outer edge winds. Florida will be fine. Ike is looking to go right over Cuba carry on into the gulf of mexico and make haste for New Orleans area again. Poor old cuba is not going to have much left by the end of the week. Once again the people on the gulf coast need to be extremely wary of the storm, if it doesn't dissapate over cuba like Gustav, it'll be another mass evac.
