I'm hoping it get's to a Cat 5 so we dont have school here in Austin on Tuesday, since our school is a refugee center for hurricanes, and that's a law that it's a center for 'em.

I also feel sorry that it probably will hit to a cat 5 and all the people....

It's bittersweet for me, but more bitter...

Come on man, have some compassion. Is loosing hundreds, maybe even thousands of lives worth it just so you dont have to go to school?

Only the most stubborn people will not leave New Orleans and the cities of Austin Dallas San Antonio Houston and MANY MAAAAANY more are lugging people in by the bus loads and I35 is closed to one way only to evacuate people...I think the loss of life will be minimal. The loss of property will be top of the charts though... :-/

Then there's hurricane "Hanna" that will hit the east coat. It looks to hit around the Georgia - Florida boarder and after last weeks flooding the next week or so is going to be interesting for the southern US from Texas clear to the Atlantic seaboard..

Hanna causes more worry for me, but we could use the rain...

...Extra rain please, hold the death and destruction... ;)

Wow! New Orleans is doing really well according to the news channels, the strong part of the storm missed them and the levees are struggling but holding the water in, I think it's going to be all good for the residents!
