I suspect there's slightly more experience of such pyrotechnic events in the west...
On my trip to work last night I was entertained by fireworks from three different directions. There's also a fireworks factory less than four miles from me.
Say, did you hear about the fellow who lit a small fireworks rocket between his teeth and then shot his mouth off?
...I'd better leave now.

I'll be watching. Comprized my whole day yesterday. The Olympics are the only time I watch sports.

Not too surprising when the U.S. team is comprised of millionare profesional athletes. 'Twas a time when only amateur athletes were allowed. I see they've also adusted the rules so these idjits can actually play. IMO they should have to pay to play.

BTW, anybody know why baseball wasn't included this year?

Do you get the feeling the diving pair of 14 year old Tom Daley and "the other bloke" won't be together for 2012...

...talk about sticking the knife in, particularly against someone so young!

That is what happens in these team sports...someone always gets blamed.

I enjoy the swimming. Phelps is just going to take the gold no questions asked. :D

Lol. If anything I think Tom was typically the better diver. Both made a bit of a splash at one time or another, but there is no reason why Tom was any the worse. Kudos to him for making it that far... I don't think many people his age could have been actually able to go to the Olympics even if they did have the skill.

I was quite literally up all night watching various events (and Dirty Sanchez)... Went to sleep at 10am after watching a lot of the events.
