Wait, what? 50 (ish) teachers for 110 students? WTF? :-?

We had 50 kids in our class (largest that year in the city) with a single teacher! Is that even legal?

Mathematically we have roughly 30 teachers... and 1000 pupils. 30 in a class.

I think realistically we have about 50 teachers. It only seems to be the IT ones that can be 'proven wrong'.... yeh you try and make me do this work... mhwaawaw I hope that scared her off becoming a teacher for real.

Funny part is, in my days in school it would have been considered normal to see a guy pull into a high school in a pickup truck with a gun rack in the rear window. I've even seen compound bows in racks in the rear windows of a pickup. No one thought anything about it. Now, people are arrested for having them in their vehicles.

Same here. Like I said, I grew up in a rural area. The Jr/Sr High School I went to was nesteled along a county road between two fields. There are two small towns to the north and south.
It wasn't at all uncommon to see a pickup in the lot with a gunrack in the back window cradling a 30-30 rifle. Many would go hunting after scholl let out. We even had a NRA club in school.

Respect starts at home, true. But in our youth there were actually parents at home and we didn't have a room filled with video games slowly causing ADHD. Many of us also had better diets supplied by farm-fresh products.
