Postby Triple_7 » Thu Aug 14, 2008 11:17 pm

I haven't lost my marbles...but I could use some information on some :P

My grandpa was going to put these in a yard sale last week and luckily I stopped him in time.

Hi 777......not played marbles for over 60 years but brings back memories as clear as crystal........ :)

I think Google will be your best friend on this ......should be loads of experts out there ...........pages such as this.. http://www.landofmarbles.com/collector-marbles.html will give you a start.....

..there are sure to be the odd forum or two on the subject, better than asking on SimV...here's one for starters...http://marbleconnection.invisionzone.com/index.php?

..........good luck..nice subject....commoner ;)

Also look through e-Bay, you might be able to price them if someone is selling.

Yeah, like a lot of other stuff that I threw away, now I find out that something as seemingly simple as marbles might actually be worth something.  Talk about losing your marbles.  Live & learn the hard way.
