I thought Naval Academy was easy than Air Force Academy...
Slightly off topic, for the USAF its 4 months in theatre then no other deployment for 2 years? Interesting. We tend to do several 3-4 weeks stints throughout the year (continuously - having said that our Army (and Harrier force) is completely overstretched and its seems not uncommon to do 4 or 6 month dets with a lot less time in between). Two ways of skinning the same cat I suppose.
No worries your not being rude ;).I don't mean to solicit, advertise, or come off as rude. But, a website you may want to also ask at is, f-16.net & airwarriors.com .
Look in the medical sections because they have hundreds of pages worth of information about requirements & laser eye surgery.
They try to keep you under the 6 mos. deployment quota which qualifies it for "temporary" duty (TDY). There also can be the happenstance of exactly when you apply for what since quota needs tend to fluctuate....for the USAF its 4 months in theatre then no other deployment for 2 years?
