1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

while I am glad he kept it, I think its a little fortunate for him, since he's' serving with the american airforce regardless of his association with the RAF. He should have been required to follow the USAF rules. I'm not sure how popular it'll make him with the other AF pilots, that or maybe it'll help his position. ;D

It also looks as though he also refused to shave and polish his head, like the rest of his American Troops!...;)...!

When I was in the British Army, and we were attached to another Company or Regiment,  British or Foreign, we always followed the rules of our OWN Regiment...;)...!

P.S. ...don't you just love the expression;"Superior Officer".... >:(...!

...I still have fond memories of what I used to call them.... ;)...!
