Try explaining this one to the arresting officer :o :o

Do not pass go, do not collect $200, go directly to jail

Mildly amusing story, unless your connecting flight is to Thailand, Singapore, China, Vietnam or Malaysia for example..........this would see you sitting on death row.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Indeed. That is extremely worrying. The incompetence of officialdom never ceases to amaze me.

kinda makes me wonder what happens to controlled substances once confiscated.

"2k of Cocaine goes missing at Local Police Station" in other news "Private donor gives money to City for new Police Cruisers" ;D

what really happens to the contraband?

Well in my erm Dope Country it probably gets re-distributed through various " Programs"

If you come from the antilles with less than 2.5kg's of Coke they just give you a one way ticket back.
