Bet they need shovels to clean up the crap after this wave! :o I know I'd need to change my undies after seeing something like this.

Not sure what type of Naval vessel this is, but I'd say that life vests are definitely a requirement! :o

I'm glad I was a ground pounder in the service! ;)

That's why I don't prefer to go to sea in stormy areas.

Looks to be the Carnival Cruises logo on the stack. Certainly looks like a carnival(ish) type ride too.

Your quite correct!

Per site- "Carnival Triumph in Hurricane Isabel

From someone who has sailed on cruise ships in weather like this:

There is a big slow push from the floor as the bow rise over a swell, then a slight weightless feeling as the bow drops over the edge, followed by a big shudder that rattles the entire ship as the bow smacks into the bottom of the trough (which seems to be the moment captured in the above picture - keep in mind that ship is 180 feet high above the water and 893 feet in length)."

You ever see Deadliest Catch on Discovery. 80-200 foot vessels going through 35 foot seas, 50 mph winds, ice, rain, snow, 10 degrees F. It's really cool. Show is on Tuesdays at 9:00pm EST on Discovery. I am a big fan of it. Seen every episode in all 4 seasons.
