What is your next scheduled flight?

Postby DomSQ » Wed Apr 16, 2008 7:05 am

I thought it would be cool to maybe have alook at what people's next scheduled flight is,and who they're flying with,

My Flight is in 3 Months, and I'm flying with Singapore Airlines from Manchester UK to Melbourne Australia, moving over there for good (Once again),the Manchester To Singapore leg is with a Boeing 777-200ER (SQ327),then the Singapore-Melbourne leg is with the Boeing 777-300ER (SQ217),which I'm looking forward to as it feature's SQ's brand new Economy class.

Well that's it really, would be interested in maybe hearing some of your next flights.

Mid to late June, connecting flight via ? from Boston, MA (KBOS) to New York City (KJFK) and then flying JAL from KJFK to Narita, Japan (RJAA).

Return same route in reverse in mid August.

One amasses a LOT of frrequent flyer miles on THAT route.

Sounds cool John,I've never flown JAL,or have been to Japan,I don't like Japanese food very much so that's a big reason, haha, although Tokyo city really does look spectacular and would love to see it one day, who're you a frequent flyer with?

And haha sounds cool Brett, hope you enjoy it.

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Unless some emergency pops up...looking to be probably early December or early January.  The plan is to return to Taiwan for a couple weeks visit.

More then likely starting at Fort Wayne (FWA) with a couple stops before getting to Tao-Yuan.  Possibly start off on American Airlines like I did last time.  Depending on prices I might take AA from FWA-ORD-NRT then switch to one of the several airlines that fly between NRT and TPE.

Or another possibility is Delta from FWA-ATL then Korean Air from ATL-ICN-TPE.  Or United FWA-ORD-SFO-TPE.....Or just a mixed bag of other options...anything but Malaysia Airlines and LAX again [smiley=door.gif]  Hopefully someone opens up some new routes...would be nice to have a ORD-TPE direct route :P

Swiss airlines Avro RJ  100 will be my next flight ....Manchester to Kloten next Wednesday..then return two weeks later.......to see my two grandkids. Do this at least four times a year. Kloten is quite some airport with some of the gates requiring a ride on the underground railway which makes it a bit different......and also it's the only place the Swiss can buy stuff on Sundays so the shopping is amazing too.(Everything shuts down in Switzerland on Sundays)

Used to do Easy jet from Luton but got caught out on the M1 a couple of times and missed flights...so now just do this one.

Not too keen on this aircraft..a bit small inside for my liking but fairly quiet and a smooth ride (usually).............commoner ;)

LHR-LAX via Houston with Contimental Airlines.
777-200ER I believe on the way out (CO5), connecting in Houston, then a 757-300 (CO1795).  Thats in mid-July.
On the way home, mid/late August I am on CO797 in a 737-300 from LAX-IAH and then CO4 from IAH to LHR.  Oh yeah, on the trip back I am in First class (CO797) and BusinessFirst (other one!)
Looking forward to going there, more so for the comfortable flight back!
Also, whilst I am over there, I will probably be going to Las Vegas for an evening or two to see a couple of shows, Blue Man Group and Phantom of the Opera.  Southwest Airlines from ONT both ways!
Can anybody tell me what Continental are like in economy and/or First/businessfirst?  I have never travelled with them before, just stuck to virgin atlantic, but these flights were given to me from dad with his miles, so I am not complaining!
What's IAH like also?  I know about LAX, it's a nightmare!
Cheers,

I rarely know until the day before... often don't even know I'm going until the day before!! :D
Never know for sure what airline it will be, either.

Just got back from a trip to Jackson, MS (on less than 24 hrs' notice)... I may be off again next week, this time to Myrtle Beach, SC... then somehow I'm supposed to be back in Chicago, Jackson, and Madrid, Spain during the same two weeks in May.     :-?

Not even sure where I am right now...  :-/
