Political commercials aren't so bad.  At least it gives me a reason to throw tomatoes at the TV :P

Barack's wife makes a better looking first lady than Hillary's does, and Bill just looks terrible in a formal gown.

I never really understood american politics, they say its democratic, but it doesnt look like it from the outside, with only a 2 party system, and how the votes are counted is even stranger, it seems more logical too count individual votes as that makes every vote just as important...

Most politicians are bought and paid for by big business here in America. If you listen to political chatter on the telli or radio its more like a game on how to present yourself to a certain demographic. Most chatter from those running is very thin indeed almost comical to me at times.

Sad thing is if you had genuine concern for the average person in America and you decided to run the media and your contenders would be able to pick you apart.

The latest bit of bull pucky is this supposed economic recession and a stimulus package which basically is giving the American people money for votes ;D.  They are avoiding the real issues which would be tax breaks for the middle class,  the big one going after big business( ;D ;D Yeah right)  , and cutting spending inside the government.

Hopefully not too political ;)

Yeah, hes got the hand gestures and everything.  The only republican I would vote for is Huckabee, but he would have to make Colbert VP!  j/k.

I have often admired the democracys of some of the smaller european countries, where the president is more or less a representitive of that country, and not making rediculous laws to distract from his really rediculous decisions.  >:( (first angry face of the discussion).

Another thing I like about this election is that the "F*** the rest of the world" opinion has been somewhat marginalized (except for Ron Paul).

What I appreciate about our elected Prime Ministers, and Members of Parliament, is thats its all done with a minimum of fuss and commotion, and if we don't like what they do, when they get in, we kick up a bit of a fuss, and it all gets modified to our general satisfaction*... :-*...!

Paul....England....and Guy Fawkes**... :)...!

* except, of course, in the case of Tony Blair MP, and the Iraq war...;)...!

** ..mind you, he came to a sticky end... :o...!!
