Meanest Mom Ever?

Postby Wing Nut » Wed Jan 09, 2008 7:55 am

Mom sells rule-breaking son's car

If I were the kid, I would be mad too, but you know what?  He broke the rules, and is getting what he deserves...  ;D

Here's the ad...   ;D

He knowingly broke the rules, so what does he expect? He should be glad it was his mom that found it and not a cop

Perfect.  That is exactly how it should have been handled.  Now, when people come to look at the car, she should make her son show it to them as she stands there. :)

That's not harsh.  That's the way it SHOULD be.  He broke the rules, now he pays for it...

Too many parents in th US today let their kids get away with far too much. When they get into trouble the standard line they always tell the world is "He/She is really a good kid at heart. They have had a tough life so you need to be sympathetic towards them. After all, it's not their fault they broke the rules. The problem lies with they way society has treated them."

I am so tired of people blaming others for their own stupid mistakes. Whatever rule or law they broke they made the decision to do it.

This mom made the rules and her son knew the consequences of breaking them. I applaud her for sticking to her guns and following through.

As Baretta used to say ......

If you cant do the time don't do the crime.

..if I was his Dad, I would have covered him with virgin olive oil, herbs and spices, streaky bacon, stuffed him with Sage and Onion, spiked him with Skewers, popped him in the oven, and roasted him for Sunday's dinner....

...my instant cure for unruly Children... ;)...!

Be afraid.....be VERY afraid!...;)...!

Excellent. And as far as i am concerned, the kids "it wasn't mine" excuse is stupid. It may not have been, but that doesn't stop him drinking it. Add in the underage part and the kids really lucky as someone said, it wasn't the police who found it first.

You should always do what you say you're going to do. My students have largely learned this the hard way ;D ;D ;D

Bravo to Mom for selling the car but...

Excessive public humiliation for what appears to be an isolated incident from a normally well behaved kid seems harsh, doesn't it?
