I've got DirecTV (satellite)... There are three reasons I'll turn a tellivision on...

1)Sports

Because I refuse to have a Television Set, or a Television program running anywhere in my house, it is always surprising the number of Folks and Friends who come to visit me for an interesting Chat, knowing full well that its not going to be constantly interrupted by some ridiculous Television program running in the background*...!

I still reckon that "Television" is the curse of Mankind, and the destroyer of every-day Conversation... >:(...!

*  ...and the reason I am reluctant to visit anyone who has a Television Set installed...;)...!
