Not a bad result at all...

As for the final, South Africa or Argentina? Mmm, on current form, er, neither thanks! Then again, lets hope England have discovered that winning habit. Josh Lewsey looks touch and go - I just hope Brian Ashton keeps the same team that played the second half last night if he doesn't recover in time - Dan Hipkiss will be a bit of a handful, particularly against an arrogant SA team (if they get through).

i loved lewceys trie at 90seconds, also found it quite funny when he patted the french guy on the head as he got up as if to say " thanks, if it wasnt for i wouldnt of made it"

You had to feel for Damien Traille - he's not a regular full back, and when hat ball bounced, instead of breaking left or right it went straight back into Lewsey's path. Then to top it off he slipped! (lots of players have been slipping. They need longer studs!)

i have noticed that actualy, also in the SA Argy match, the Argy fall back was slipping as well, but what a first try to start that game off.

looks like we have SA next saturday.

First try wasn't that good - just a lucky/well read interception - it doesn't take too much skill to run 75 yards... ;)

Argentina were a little unlucky. A few things didn't go their way (the ref made a couple of very odd calls in the middle of the first half - how on earth he called "advantage over", then a second later went back to the same offence was beyond me!), but some of the basics really let them down. Hopefully they'll get in a regular tournament (how about two "4 nations" tournaments in Europe) and then come back with the same force in 2011 (Mind you if Australia and NZ get their way the 2011 World Cup will only feature 3 teams... ;D)
