University of South Florida at Auburn is going into overtime 20-20.

Anything can happen in NCAAF.
-------------------------------------------------------
Final score:

USF 26
Auburn 23

Never take a Florida team lightly.

While surfing channels last week, I caught a wild feed on the big dish. I believe it was halftime with Boise State leading 47-0. Wonder if they won. ;D :o

I think Michigan will beat Notre Dame...but I'll be rooting for Notre Dame all the way.  I think this game is bigger for ND's season too.

However, my focus will be on Oregon as Fresno State comes to town.  I'll be at that game and even though Fresno hasn't been that good in the last couple seasons...whenever we play them its always close (and we typically pull out the win).

has anyone seen the recent rankings?
In the also getting votes part, but out of the top 25 appalachian state have started to get votes.

I'm going to say Michigan will beat ND, ND just look very unorganised.

I thought I'd read that Appalachian State was not in the "Bowl"  division of NCAA....?

Appalachian St. is not in the Bowl Sub-Division (or, the division formally known as I-A).  They are in the Championship Sub-Division (formally Division I-AA) however after they beat (then #5) Michigan the AP changed their rules allowing for any college football team to receive votes...regardless of division.

still a bit confused, would that then mean they could play in a championship game but not a bowl game? I thought that the bowl games were the championship games. Remember I am still pretty new to college football. ::)

I still think of it as "I-A"  and "I-AA".  Basically, the "Bowl Championship / I-A" teams get to play for national attention and big $$$.  The "Championship / I-AA"  are usually smaller colleges that want to break into the "big time".

The NCAA officially renamed the I-A and I-AA divisions this season.  They are now officially known as the "Bowl Sub-Division" and the "Championship Sub-Division" (but people still use the old names).

However, you are right.  The I-A teams play for bowl games and money while the I-AA teams pick a champion on the field.
