[quote]I had a hamster when I was a kid. He used to run across the carpet in my room. One day he ran so fast he ran off the carpet onto the wooden floor. Which, ofcourse, just had been waxed. That day I learned that hamsters don't have very good brake systems. He skid into the wall head first and died instantly. :'( :'( :'(

Sorry but I had to find that very funny. ;D ;D

You're not the only one A1 :D

On a similar note I once saw a dove dive and swoop head first into a steel gate between to buildings. ::)

It was even more amusing to see it just lay on the ground there after, semi-conscious.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not some sicko who loves to see animals suffer... I was just amused at the level of stupidity.

The biggest difference between humans and other animals is that humans, before doing something equally stupid, like to say, "Hey, everyone, watch this!"  ::)

At my old flat my wife came home one day to find 3 KO'd pigeons on the balcony (strangely enough I'd cleaned the windows that day). The wife demanded an explanation (knowing how much I hate pigeons) so I told her I'd been sellotaping breadcrumbs to the inside of the window ;D

I have a(n old) dog and some (greedy) fish.
Used to have a hamster but he died.

In my old house we used to always have birds flying into windows, once we found out that one of the dead birds was an endangered woodpecker.

I own 3 cats... They bring a wide variety of friends with them home... mice, moths, small birds, butterflies, spider... preferably still in a half concious state, so they can release them in the house to amuse me and my girlfriend...  ;D

I love them though...  ;)

Evidently, they all were endangered when in the vicinity of your window... :'(

I have an old cat who doesn't look or act like she's old, and a few fish. My Dad has two dogs, two horses, and a goat. Or rather, the horses have a goat since they treat it like a pet of their own. :D
