What's your weather like where you are..?

Postby Fozzer » Sat Jun 30, 2007 6:31 am

Over here in England we are suffering from extremely wet weather and floods...>>>>

http://www.orange.co.uk/news/topstories ... icle=index

Whereas in Southern California they are suffering from Forest fires due to the extremely dry weather....>>>>

http://www.kron.com/Global/category.asp ... =menu130_1

What strange, varied weather we have, and probably nothing to do with "Global Warming"...just "normal weather for the time of year"...what do your expect?.... ::)...?

Paul...presently sitting in a puddle of water!... ;)...!

..what is the "weather" doing to you at present?

One moment it's raining, the next the sun shines. Just came back from Amsterdam where the sun was shining, past Utrecht and the rain started to fall again. It's no fun. This is supposed to be summer. It should be dry.

Crash ;) (hates rain)

This part of Britian we have had the odd showers of rain, no flooding exept for the cross country run on Wednesday  ;D Lake jumping (large puddles)  :D

Overall not much just the typical grey overcast, rain, thunder and lightning and no sun. Normal British summer.

...it's a funny old do...

...but living in the Northern Hemisphere, within a "temperate climate zone", and on an island surrounded by water*, our only source of conversation with our fellow residents is in regard to the changeable, day-to-day weather... :).....!

Without that, we would be a lot of miserable, introvert sods, and never talk to each other...trust me!... ::).... :o....!

Paul... 8-)... ;D....!

* Have you ever come across an island NOT surrounded by water?... ::)...?

..and because it's such a wet, miserable day, I've treated you to peek at todays FAB dinner...>>>

Roast Lamb Chops and Mint Sauce!...

..enjoy....

...I did... ;D...!

Not so sure about vegitables though.

Sunny, sizzling hot, with the chance of sand storms... :-/

It's been hot lately, reaching 120+ F/50 degrees celsius during the daytime lately...[Insert sweaty smily face here]

Well it's sunny and very hot as usual in Florida but during the summer in Florida one must be prepared for a storm to come in unexpectedly. One minute it can be sunny with not a cloud in the sky and the next it will be downpouring.  :P
