And if those are considered drugs then you guys should also ban alcohol and tabaco.
If you classify hash and such as drugs then so is alcohol and tobacco
Quite true, they are.

Alcohol was banned -- provided us with the "Untouchables" series -- but it wouldn't stay corked. Alcohol and tobacco are still restricted, however.

Speaking of tobacco, England went smokefree today; no smoking is allowed at all any more in public places.

All I can say is;
Good

or it could be labour trying to reduce the number of cigarette related (an imho unneccesary) cancer cases, cigarette butts on the floors, smoking teenagers, smelly public places, intimidated OAP's and unhappy citizens.

all the above making for a cleaner, happier, tidier and more friendly country ;)
im not suffering insanity,

im enjoying every minute of it!

Whats wrong with smoking alittle pot?...yeah its gross as crap, and I personally wouldn't ever do it or  touch a girl that smoked anything...

...but it sure as hell beats the millions of other people out there who goes out and cheats on their spouse, gambles away their children's college fund, and just recklessly endangering the lives of others...

...alteast when you do drugs, you're only hurting yourself.

Yeah, i agree. Im generally against drugs, on the grounds that they kill people, but can anybody tell me how many people have died from heroin overdose? countless. Cocaine overdose? countless. Cannabis overdose? only one, i do believe, and that guy did smoke a heck of a lot of weed.

My cousin's breakfast was a reefer, nothing else. He was supposed to set the timing on a car -- couldn't remember something he'd done a hundred times; for nearly half an hour, he couldn't remember then, suddenly, did. You'd rather he'd been driving during that first half hour?
Secondly, since it's been a 'controlled' substance for its more unique qualities, the same comparisons haven't been promoted. Want to bet against its similarites to the more common tobacco?

This is no longer going to be a discussion about whether or not it is 'right' to smoke drugs or not.  It is illegal, and the little tramp lied about it' plain and simple.  Let it go or this thread will be locked.

Whilst I do not condone her use of drugs, technically, what she did was not illegal, because she did it in a country and a place where the law allows that activity. It is no more illegal than me driving at 100 mph here in Germany and then saying, but you are a Brit and in the UK you can only drive at 70 mph, you have broken the law. All she did was tell a rather large whopper on national TV (and when there is evidence of her doing it in glorious technicolour, need we say more) , no more that the average politician..........maybe it is a question of "IS" and whether she inhaled or not ;D ;D

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

while the smokeing ban in britain is nice, work on sunday was quite nice, the locals wernt hot boxing the one end of the bar. but.. as cobra said its just another labour infringement on peopels liberties, it will make a very very slight decrease in the number of passive smokeing related deaths because peope will still smoke at the bus stop and things so a pointless bill imo
