Dream Job

Heres the scale:

1. Fast Jet Pilot - RAF
2. Transport Pilot - RAF
3. Helicopter Pilot - RAF
4. Aircrew - RAF (Maybe later on moving into a pilot role)
5. Airline Pilot (Passenger or Cargo)
6. GA Pilot. (With a 'real' Job to pay for it!)

At moment the RAF is looking quite hopeful but I have to remeber that only the select few get to become Aircrew in the RAF and its an even smaller selection of that which actually get to be Fast Jet Pilots. Fingers crossed I will end up with 1 - 4 in the next few years. If not, its

LOL cool, does that job come with a harem ;)

Of course it does! ;D

And your mean, but ultra cool looking elite guards...and the whack foreign agent trying to stop you.

But I'm not gonna make one of the common mistakes.
That spy will be killed first before I tell him about my supersecret world domination plans. ;D

A dream job is the one that gives you satisfaction in executing it, allows for upward mobility in it, will provide you and your family a good living, gives you time to enjoy doing other things while off the job and at the end of it all, gives you the feeling that all the years you spent at it were worth it.

So what is that job? I couldn't tell you. You'll have to find it for yourself...

I've always fancied Chief Executioner..... mind you it is teaching that has driven me down this path ;D
Oddly enough I wanted to be a Jaguar pilot but ended up excessively tall. Then I wanted to be an officer in the Paras, no chance with hippy pacifist parents. I was a pretty fair rally driver but ran out of money so I kinda wandered into uniform (good choice as it turned out), got into plenty of trouble. Wandered into teaching, got into more trouble. Next job? Who knows but I'm sure it'll involve trouble ;D

My absolute dream job would be a pilot of an A-10C Warthog =P A good possibility, considering it'll be around for another 20 years  :D

If that's not a possibility, the AC-130 Spectre looks like a very good possibility.

If Military Aviation is way out of the question, I'd probably fall back onto my original career choice (Before I upgraded in "Adrenaline Junkie" status)... A Roller Coaster Designer/Engineer =P

All the pilot jobs mentioned sound glamorous but I'd bet the reality of them really isn't as wondeful as they initially sound.  The only dream job that's been mentioned that appeals to me is the "unemployed but with plenty of money" thing.  I'd buy a small machine shop and start making race cars for the fun of it.  Perhaps hire some programmers and start a company that makes flight simulators and racing games.

If I had to work then no matter what it is my dream job would have to be part time.  I can't think of anything that I'd love so much that I'd want to do it 50 hours per week.  I guess my dream job would be two 20 hour a week part time jobs that are very different from eachother..

A "dream job" for anyone with some ambition is to start his own homebased business. There are oodles of them out there. At the risk of igniting the fury of the mods, I would suggest Herbalife. It is in 60 countries and growing like wildfire. Check them out. I am a distributor for them, but I have gotten nowhere in my business because I do not suffer rejection well. It is for people who can overcome rejection and setbacks for the bigger prize that awaits those with guts, determination and drive. I possess none of the previous and so will be a punchclock zero until I die...

You could call it BOK Enterprises. It's just a name and no one need know the origin or meaning...
