Maybe this was just a mistake but I have seen first hand(no, I wasn't the one in the hospital) how they treat people. Its a tragic incident, but I wouldn't blame the hospital though. She had no signs of external injuries, and all the doctors know is from her pleas of pain...
...yeah, she had a serious condition, but as far as the ER doctors can tell, shes no different from all the others who couldn't wait until morning for their regular physician...
...and if you think about it, its a inner city hospital, there are plenty of blunt force trauma patients who are in more desperate need of immediate medical care than she was (well, from what the doctors can tell).
Makes me want to watch that new Michael Moore movie...

I know I'm going to see his new movie,"Sicko." I've seen them all and have them on DVD. And yes, I have all his books. And no, I'm not a liberal

Your grandmother is very smart. ;)All hospitals are shite full stop!!
What do you expect for the crap wage the staff get. Here in the Uk we have the good old MRSA bug, doctors killing patients when they are healthy, elderly being treated poorly.......the list goes on.
There are good people out there but there is a price on everything, including humans.
My grandmother goes to a private clinic if she needs treatment for anything and is willing to pay hundreds-thousands for it. She can afford it but it should not be like this.
