She's out!!!!!!!

Please don't throw virtual tomatos at me for posting this but, she's out!  This is the sort of justice only money can buy.  Paris Hilton served only 3 days of a 45 day sentence.  Her lawyer citing medical reasons.

So wrong. She is just as much criminal as anyone else and should have served her sentence.  ::)

I guess we'll see what happens when she goes to the Mall in a couple of days (in violation of her house arrest).  Will the judge throw the book at her or say "you're rich and famous, these laws don't apply to you anyways"?  My guess is the second of those.

This woman is pretty young and seems to run afoul of the law often.  I'm sure this won't be her last look at "jail".  Maybe she'll get one o' them good ol' fashion "hangin' judge" types who love stiff penalties for spoiled brats.  Then we'll see some fireworks.

Drunk driving then ignoring your sentance isn't deserving of 40-ish days in jail?

Ahem TSC and Chris, im saying she shouldnt have been sent to jail...not that she shouldnt of been punished. Like it or not she is different to the average joe, so jail isnt really an option + shes hardly a threat to society. I reckon community service would have been more suitable, and more of a punishment.

Also, remember its not her you should be annoyed with, its the legal system. Paris rules  ;)

Apparently, according to Yahoo news and her lawyer she's been spending her time in jail thinking about how to make the world better.  ;D

Obviously she's got something up her sleeve and had to get out quick to share it with us...

shes hardly a threat to society.

You've obviously never been run & over & crippled by a drunk driver then.

As far as being 'different' to normal people, she was treated differently, she was put in her OWN cell, everybody else has to share.

I reckon community service would have been more suitable, and more of a punishment.

A good point, it would be a good punishment for her, but she's not doing that is she, she's spending a month sat on her ar3e in a very plush mansion watching DVD's all day long - oh woe is her...
