The B-17 Sentimental Journey is one of the 10 remaining B-17's that are still airworthy.  She came last year to my home airport (Elko Regional) and stayed for around a week.  They did soooooo well that they came again.  Flights on The Sentimental Journey run around $425.  I have the money, but unfortunately I am saving for a school trip :'(.  Needless to say, I'll be maxing out my memory card w/ pictures ;)

Makes me happy.

Glorious machines.

I think that every nation that served in WW2 should have at least a hand full of flying examples of everything they used back then.

Im sad to know that there is a good chance that most or all of these historical pieces will fade into museums at some point in my life time... and my kids may never hear this sound in their lives...

Got three rides in Sentimental Journey when i was 6-7, her home airport is Falcon Field which is not to far from my house 8-)

Also got 1 free ride because my grandfather knew the pilot at the time.
